Automotive X Prize Competition for 100 MPG Down to 12 Teams
The Progressive Automotive X Prize, a competition for super fuel-efficient cars, is down to 15 vehicles after the Knockout Qualify Stage ended June 29. The car competition offers a $10 million prize for vehicles that reach super fuel efficiency and a goal of 100 MPGe.
