Zenergy (Zero Energy) House Debuts in Los Angeles
The Zenergy House is a 1950’s remodel that delivers high on sustainability and low on energy use — net zero to be exact — thanks to the use of super-efficient green building strategies and solar panels on the roof. Built as a prototype to showcase the sustainable potential of an existing home, the 2,450 square-foot house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms opened its doors to the public for the first time earlier this month, and Inhabitat was on the scene to check it out.
